Wired
Is HL patched? If memtest passes, then the memory's ok. What size PSU do you have? Also, is the memory running @ 400 or 333? If 400, set to 333.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 28, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 28, 2005 There is a wealth of information about stop errors and how to trouble shoot them! Like KNOWLEDGE BASE LINKS STOP MESSAGES and more specifically your stop errors is listed in the data base. STOP: 0x00000008 (parameter, parameter, parameter, parameter) IRQL_NOT_DISPATCH_LEVEL and that would suggest some piece of hardware and or the driver associated with that hardware is not compatible with the version of windows you have! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 11, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 11, 2005 I would make sure that you have the latest drivers and service packs installed and if you still have problems can you try like a different system configuration, different Video card and or HDD?
