TommyVisic
Hello, Upon starting my machine one day (loaded w/ 2 sticks of CMX512-3500C2 ram), I was not able to POST. The computer would power on and nothing would happen. After trouble shooting (taking one peice of hardware out at a time, updating BIOS) I've determined that a stick of ram has gone bad. When I'd remove the offending module, the machine would boot, I'd put it back in, and it would not. I ruled out a bad socket by moving the module around. After switching the two modules around in the sockets, I found a combination that would let the computer occasionally boot. I grabbed memtest86, booted back up, and found errors in one of the modules during a pattern test. Any thoughts?
