RonP
Have found one of my Twin1024XMS3200XL modules causes failure of boot. Removed the errant unit and all is well. What causes the problem, was running normal SPD rate on Titled MB. Sent motherboard back to Asus, which was replaced, and to my chagrin, the same problem occurred. I then tested the memory by removing one, and bingo, off I went. Question: Is there something about this low latency module that is delicate, or is this an abboration of a well known memory manufacturer. Nobody's perfect. :sigh!: Can I install two more units to bring the memory to 4GB? Video editing... Bad modules returned to ZipZoomFly for replacement. Nice outfit. Nope, as they don't make 768 MB or 2 GB sticks. 1. Just took them out one at a time. Not likely to happen on two different boards if it wasn't the stick. 2. Sorry, what I meant was four sticks of 512MB to give me 2 GB total. Stated the issue incorrectly.
Wired
Just make sure that all 4 sticks are the same revision, and loosen the timings.
