Diddy64
...........Fix I hope for Good. Running the latest updates as of 4th Nov 18 and have had this incredibly frustrating problem with the side buttons on my Scimitar not working. A pretty pointless mouse if it is only going to work as a standard mouse. Anywho, today after months and months had the time to really dig in and research other possibilities I found a link about a previous windows update screwing everything up. If anyone is almost ready to chuck the whole thing, have a read of a post I found. It is not complicated but be aware you have to access the bios to fix it. took about 2 minutes and after that all was working on the side buttons. I really really hope this helps someone out there, I had tried ALL cue and icue updates with a ridiculous amount of button combinations. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/104025-turn-off-core-isolation-memory-integrity-windows-10-a.html
Diddy64
Just an after thought, I only used option 1, did not have to dabble with other options. Turned on visualisation in bios and continued with tutorial. David.
Diddy64
oh dear. If I leave Core isolation ON all buttons on the side work as they should BUT my logitech G25 is not recognised in any game with a driver error. Back to the drawing board. I have looked on this site for about 10 months now hoping someone would have fixed it, where is Corsair. I know it is not their fault about windows updates but please please fix this so my 70 pound mouse can have more features than a 10 pound mouse. fireshadow540
didnt have visualization option on my dino pc so just turned on the core security and got my buttons to work..thanks for the info was starting to box the mouse right back up and send it back in and say corsair wont be getting my money for keyboards and mice after the mouse having problems right out of the box...honestly though they really do need to fix it to where the mouse is more pnp than having to program it yourself right out of the box especially with nothing commenting that us the buyers have to program the side buttons..
