Midiamp
Read the wrong spec sheet. The ML140 Pro RGB indeed maxed out at 1200 RPM. Original content: So, the spec sheet stated 2000 RPM max speed, and here I am only getting 1100 RPM. http://www.plikimage.com/images/2018/11/02/d42823d1-77bd-4bc3-977b-a9e0dce4ed0a7c5ec56ee3cebdb0.md.jpg At first I thought connecting two ML140 fan using a Y splitter makes the speed drops to half. I took the splitter and connect the cable straight, still only maxed out 1100ish RPM. My Noctua NF-A14 peaks at 1500 RPM. http://www.plikimage.com/images/2018/11/02/c1c0f866-4f37-4414-a4bb-46c71f10019ef5de1743ced70b6a.md.jpg Any hint about where I did something wrong? DevBiker
Where are you getting 2000 RPM? The ML-RGB 140 mm spec sheet doesn't say that at all ... it says 1200RPM (and there will be a +/- so 1100 sounds about right).
Midiamp
Holy hell! I looked at the wrong page on my mobile phone! I was looking at ML140 Pro (non RGB) instead of ML140 Pro RGB tech spec... Okay, please lock this thread after laughing.

auskie
Anyone have any insight as to why the RPM difference between ML140 PRO RGB and ML140? Or maybe know of a way to get more rpm from the RGB?
DevBiker
It was a design decision from Corsair? And no, you cannot get more RPM from the RGB versions.
