k70 lux rgb iCue lights not working

After a small spill on the spacebar in the keyboard, I left it to dry overnight then wiped it up in the morning. But the problem is that icue no longer works.

If I close iCue the keyboard lights up with the default red/white but when I open it, it no longer works
