srizla
I have 3 LL120 and 2 LL140 fans that worked perfectly with the Rainbow Wave effect for months. Yesterday they froze and after a system reboot, they have ceased to illuminate at all. Tried: -Restarting iCUE -Updating all Corsair Firmware -Deleting old and creating new iCUE profiles Info: -Corsair K70 keyboard uses the same software with no issues at all -iCUE still registers the fans and portrays them as lit with correct effects P.S. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong section. I'm having difficulty navigating the site.
DevBiker
Have you restarted the Corsair Service? (There's a button for it under Settings).
srizla
I have restarted using that method as well
DevBiker
How about rearranging the fans on the hub? It's possible that one went out that that would take down the whole chain. You can also try to re-flash the Node Pro.
srizla
I feel a bit silly for not finding this sooner but...is this LED near the bottom supposed to be on (see attached jpeg)? (Also referencing the image) which box must I reflash: the larger one with the USB connection or the smaller one with the RGB attached.
srizla
The center 4 LEDs of Fan 1 (LL140) are now working normally. Not sure what I did but 4 working of the 80 LEDs is a start.

srizla
Ah thank you. My RGB Corsair hardware is as follows: (2) LL140, (3) LL120, K70 RapidFire, H150i PRO (liquid cooler) iCUE also registers my HX850i PSU but does not list any lighting options. srizla
I have removed all RGB connections and replaced them in reverse order. Now all RGB is working correctly except the last LL140 fan's (previously the first fan's) outer ring. It seems the first (now last) fan was breaking the chain before. Does this mean the fan is to blame? Could this be as simple as fixing a pin or wire?
DevBiker
Yes, the fan is to blame. Unfortunately, it's not something that you'll be able to fix. I would recommend contacting Corsair Support and getting an RMA.
