Does painting my keycaps void my warranty?

I want to paint the sides of my keycaps, and I know that taking off keycaps doesn't void your warranty. But, I wanted to know if painting your keycaps is fine, seeing as you aren't 'harming' or taking apart the keyboard itself.

Although it may not void your warranty to pull off the keycaps and paint them, if you were to submit an RMA for your keyboard the keys would need to be in the original form. So it would be recommended that you buy another set of Corsair key caps and then have those colored and replace them with the keycaps on your keyboard.
