quarkninja
Hi, I'm having an issue with my brand new Corsair 280X RGB case. The power switch seems to be not working. When I connected the power switch wires to my mobo(MSI Z270 ITX Pro Carbon AC), the PC won't start on pressing the power switch. After spending some time checking other parts, I just tried to connect the reset switch wires on my mobo's power switch pin and the pc was able to start up! So reset switch seems to work, but not sure about the power switch. Moreover, I don't get a clicking sound on pressing the power switch. But the reset switch produces a click noise(as expected I think). Is the power switch supposed to sound like that? [ame= ] [/ame] (PSU is off in the video) The case is still within the return window, so I can return or replace it with Amazon. Thanks Edited October 27, 2018 by quarkninja
Corsair Employees Corsair Caliente Posted November 1, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 1, 2018 Best thing to do would be to let our support team know. They can send you a new I/O panel so you don't have to return the whole case. Just submit a ticket at https://support.corsair.com
