flazoon
I opted for advance replacement on my recent RMA and the replacement unit arrived this morning. It's a refurbished unit, not a new unit as the Corsair support rep told me I would get when we spoke on the phone. Or as this reply from Dustin to an older thread would suggest: We don't send certified refurbished units as replacements, we send brand new ones. So what should one expect an RMA replacement unit to be like... new? refurb? Note: just to clarify, I'm not criticizing the Corsair support in any way. On the contrary, they did a great job on my ticket, they were very easy to get in touch with and they quickly got me a satisfying resolution to my C1 problem. Hats off. Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted October 23, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 23, 2018 Hi flazoon, definitely let support know. It should have been agreed upon before the unit was sent out.
