Padinn
Will I be able to use the same backplate from my h100i v2 or will I need to swap it out? I'm on a 6700k.
DevBiker
Same backplate, yes. Different standoffs; you'll need to swap those.
Padinn
Thanks for reply. It's been a while since install so I think that means removing mono to install it
Padinn
Saw that through user manual i shouldn't need to remove mobo. Thanks!
cuda12
DevBiker, same thing I'm doing here. Can I use the same USB cable from the H100i? Would save me from having to reroute that cable. The current H100i I have I did not use the fans in a push pull config. However I will be using the H150i pro. If the wires don't reach is there extensions available to purchase to connect the fans? Nope, the PRO coolers have a micro USB extension, rather than mini USB. The current H100i I have I did not use the fans in a push pull config. However I will be using the H150i pro. If the wires don't reach is there extensions available to purchase to connect the fans? They'd be standard PWM fan extensions; nothing special. But it's unlikely that you'll need them.
