matthock
I'm currently trying to diagnose a random freeze issue with my system, and I noticed my AX760i is acting oddly whenever I have the system fault which is making me start to suspect it may be the culprit. When the system freezes, I have to physically yank the power cord to get it to reset - *the physical switch does not work*. That's what's bizarre - turning the physical switch off does not actually turn the PSU off. After I yank power and plug it back in it starts working correctly again. I do have System Link enabled with iCue running. Any idea why the PSU might lock up such that the power button doesn't work?
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted October 23, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 23, 2018 The motherboard typically relays the signal from your power button to the PSU, so if you're system is locked up and not responding, it could just mean the motherboard is locked up as well and no longer passing the signal. What kind of load or activities are you doing when the system locks up?
