imZin
Having some confusion on deciding which set up would be optimal for a Corsair Obsidian 500d rgb case. 280mm or 360mm. c-attack
Your image isn't visible, but there are only a few ways to set this up anyway. In terms of performance, 280mm vs 360 will be more or less the same except perhaps on a very high core count processor and when using high fan speed on the 360. As for fit, the front is a natural for the 360mm. A 280mm fits, but looking at the mounting rail a lot of it will be blocked. The top has larger 140mm cut-outs and either could go up there. To me the case feels like a 120 fan case, but you could certainly make the argument that 140mm x3 across the top and back. When it comes down to any quirks about fitment, that is best answered by someone who owns the case.
