mmfish
To reduce cable clutter I purchased a 4 position fan power cable to one fan power cable board. Can I route 4 LL fans to one commander pro fan position? Question of available power in each commander pro fan female position? Thank you
DevBiker
If you have a traditional splitter (unpowered), I strongly recommend no more than two. If, however, you have a powered hub, then you can do however many the hub can power. I've used the Silverstone 6 port PWM hub with the Commander Pro with no issue. Zotty
as already said... only 2 fans per channel.. and imho no more than 8 in total unless incorporating a powered fan hub the unit has limits. after all its specs are 6 port fan hub.... thats 6 ports for 6 fans... Not Officially supported but there is no reason why you can not use Fan header Splitter cables on the Commander Pro (note there is a 1A limitation per fan header and a 4.5A limitation for the entire unit (including it's MCU and any Corsair RGB Strips you have attached). taken from my FAQ thread http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=173880 ultimately... all at your own risk
