Lalexakis
To whom it may concern: I recently started having unexpected reboots of my system. After trying to find the problem myself and failing, I took my system to CompUSA, where, upon replacement of the system memory, the system operated properly again. :[pouts: Unfortunately, they had already wiped my system by that time. I had two sticks of the following memory in my system: Corsair Platinum TWINX CMX512-3200LLPT (xms3205v1.1 - 0321005) xms3200 512MB 400Mhz 2226-T1 I would appreciate it if i could receive an RMA number to replace this memory. Best regards, Louis Alexakis

Lalexakis
Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? Hello, Thank you for responding. Please find your answers below: MOTHERBOARD 865PE ATX Socket PGA478 Motherboard for Pentium 4 Processors Manufacturer: Intel Mfg Part #: BOXD865PERLL CPU speed = Pentium 4 3.0GHz Socket 478 1MB Cache FSB = 800MHz BIOS Setting : Were all standard. I did not and do not overclock either the processor, memory, or GPU and as you probably know, with Intel Bios settings are very conservative for memory. As I stated, I no longer have the memory in my system, but would really like to re-install, as I work with Adobe InDesign CS and system memory is a great help when working with both Vector graphics and Layers in Adobe applications. Below I have also include the 1st page of info from DXDIAG - Time of this report: 3/12/2005, 23:59:30 Machine name: CHANGED FOR SECURITY REASONS Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: INTEL_ System Model: D865PERL BIOS: BIOS Date: 04/02/04 13:33:00 Ver: 08.00.10 Processor: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs) Memory: 1022MB RAM Page File: 167MB used, 1141MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode Please let me know if I can offer any other information or assistance. Wired
FYI, the PC name isn't much of a security risk.
