reii
Hello i was wondering if anyone with good experience with chaining controllers & hubs together could help me setup chain together a plan for 30 LL120 fans, i already have 1 commando pro with my 1000D but i believe 1/2 of the RBG sots are taken by the front of the cases built in rbg lighting, and i also believe u can only chain up to 4/5 commando pro's before you end up capping the usb bandwidth, thanks. DevBiker
You'll need 5 RGB Fan Hubs (minimum). Each fan hub needs a single RGB Channel. The Commander Pro (CoPro) has 2. The Lighting Node Pro (NoPro) also has 2 (but doesn't have fan speed control). You'll need 2 more of those. Each NoPro requires a single USB Port but has an connector for a full 2-port USB header. You can use extension cables to combine them onto a single USB header tho. For the fan speed control, I'd actually suggest that you group them together and use a powered PWM Fan Hub to control them in groups. I've used the Silverstone PWM fan hub in combination with a CoPro successfully - not all fan hubs work well.
