Mindae Posted October 4, 2018 Share Posted October 4, 2018 Hello, i brought LL120 pack with 3 coolers, i got in that pack 3 fans and rgb fan led hub with lightning node pro. So ok, i connect those 3 fans(3pin cables) to fan led hub, and others 3 cables (4pin) to what? on motherboard i can connect only 1 fan. My motherboard Z370M-ITX/ac. DevBiker Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 The problem is that you have limited connections for fans on your motherboard. So you'll need to have additional connections. The way to do that in the Corsair ecosystem (and to control in Link) is a Commander Pro. There's a bunch of other fan hubs out there as well and "dumb" hubs (that just provide power and signal) can be gotten for relatively low cost. But then you'd have all of your fans at the same speed and you'd need to control them in the BIOS. This, by the way, highlights the importance of the little things - things like fan connectors. I've been burned by similar experiences (not enough fan headers) and that's really changed how I look at motherboards and what I look for. You'll usually get what you pay for ... if you go for the least expensive motherboard in the class, then you'll be missing the "little things".
