c00lkatz
I have the Corsair 275R case, and like others, hate the hex key style screws they use to secure the glass side panel. I have no idea why they designed it this way. It's a pain having to keep that hex key around, and even worse actually using it to take the panel off for simple maintenance. Are there any known working replacement thumb screw style screws that will fit, or does anyone know the correct length and thread pitch for these screws? The generic replacement screws I've seen around appear to be too short at first glance.
Corsair Employees Corsair StormShadow Posted October 5, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 5, 2018 I'm sorry, unfortunately there's no alternative to those screws.
Coshock
The crystal 460x thumbscrew set comes with some shorter thumbscrews which do fit the 275R and work great. I ordered a set for $5 (with $10 shipping) and was very happy with how well they fit. Don't forget to use the rubber washers between the thumbscrew and the tempered glass to prevent the thumbscrew from scratching the glass. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Cases/Crystal-460X-Thumbscrew-set/p/CC-8900083 Edited December 10, 2018 by Coshock
