seattlerepis
Hello, I've got a fairly new stick of Corsair ValueSelect (VS512MB333) PC2700 DDR DIMM that was at the root of all sorts of system instability until I replaced it with another DIMM. In my troubleshooting I attempted to reinstall Windows and had file copy errors all over the place. These copy errors occured with attempted Windows 2000 and Windows XP installations. I was unable to successfully reinstall either OS while using the suspect memory. After replacing the memory, I was able to install XP Pro with no problems and the system is currently stable. If you want me to run a memory diagnostic I will, but I've seen the file copy error a few times before and each time new memory fixes the problem. I'd like a RMA number to return my module for replacement. Thank you
