Phlegon
Is iCue still not able to write profiles in Node Pro's hardware? I'm still not able to do so like I used to with Corsair Link. Am I missing something here? Any plans to finally implement/fix this?
c00lkatz
Still a no go from what I've read. I too am waiting for this feature to return. I purchased my HD 120 fans over the LL 120 fans under the premise that they would retain lighting profiles without background software running. A little disappointing this still hasn't been implemented. That and not being able to lock the computer without everything defaulting back to rainbow mode, which is a huge oversight, IMO. I don't want to have to leave my computer unlocked all the time for anyone to just come up and use. I've invested a lot of money into iCUE compatible products and Corsair's RGB ecosystem, and while I love the results I'm getting all while using a single program, "little" things like this make it a real bummer, especially when I did so much research before taking the plunge only to find out later those features were reserved for the older software platform that I have no interest in using. For the record, when I say I'm committed to the Corsair RGB Ecosystem, I really mean it - Vengeance RGB Pro RAM (2 x 2x8 sets), H150i Pro AIO, 2 x LED strip kits, 6 x HD 120 fans, Lighting Node Pro, Commander Pro, ST100 headphone stand, M65 RGB Pro, K70 RGB MK.2 SE - and while not RGB, I have a 275R to house everything (it's stuffed) along with an MM300. Phlegon
This is a major feature missing from iCUE. My Led Strips and HD fans were advertised and bought specifically because of their HW memory feature. I don't like how my devices defaulting back to a rainbow mode every time iCUE is not running or when the PC boots. Can Corsair give us an answer pls? LeSnakk
I think that I've read somewhere in this forum that Corsair is aware of the rainbow at the start being an issue for some users and that they are working on making an option to replace this with a black for all devices which may write to the HW storage. With that they might implement using your own lighting preset during the start aka as a HW setting.
