Danobot
I'm currently living in Canada and will soon be moving back to Ireland. I plan to bring my PC with me. The power supply in my PC is a Corsair CX500(non module) My question is ConversionI know it allows up to 264v But is there a switch I hit, do I need an adapter for the plug or can I just replace the cable and I'm good to go. I don't want to damage my system so I'm worried Thanks
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted September 26, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 26, 2018 Hi Danobot,This is a excellent question! Our power supplies are auto-switching, so there isn't a toggle switch you'll need to hit. Just change the power cord to one that will work in the wall socket and you'll be good to go. Vegan
only thing you need is a new power cable, Ireland uses a different wall socket corsair has long used auto switching designs which are simpler and make it more convenient in a globalized market
