iCUE requires over 6% CPU. This is too much!

Hello Forum,

Why does iCUE use so much cpu performance?

My CPU is a i5 6600K @ 4,5 GHz.

I bought a water cooling system to get more performance from the CPU.

Instead, I lose over 8% of the 15% performance increase through the Corsair software.

What does Corsair.Service and iCUE have to do in the background to consume so much CPU?

There are already some of these posts here (also for the old Link Software) but as far as I know no developer has ever responded.

Will there ever be a solution for this?

Otherwise the question, the fan curves are transferred to my H100iGTX? So can I shut down the software with peace of mind? If so, how can I close it? Corsair.Service always restarts automatically.

Can I run CUE somehow without Corsair.Service so that at least my keyboard lighting still works?

Overall, I would be very pleased with the hardware from Corsair, if only because the miserable software.

Thanks for all help in advance!

I completely agree. It's a shame!
