Hi,

There is an issue with my K70 RGB MK.2 keyboard. The brightness level setting is not being saved in device memory. When I unplug my pc the brightness level is always set to the brightest setting. Every time I turn on the pc I need to use the hardware button to switch back to the lowest brightness level. Could corsair please fix this issue in a future firmware update?

It should save tthe keyboard after you made the changes in iCUE? he brightness level, are you saving and overwriting the hardware profile on

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, I do overwrite the hardware profile. If I shutdown Windows and do not unplug the pc the brightness level stays as it was before however, if I do unplug the pc then the brightness level is reset to the brightest level.

P.S. after saving the changes to the hardware profile I uninstalled iCUE to see if that would help unfortunately it did not work.

In iCUE there is an option called “Opacity” available when selecting “static color” profile which can be used to set brightness level and can be saved to device memory however, this option is not available when selecting lighting effects such as “color shift”. Therefore, I use the slider in the settings tab of ICUE or the hardware button to set the brightness level which cannot be saved to device memory. I was wondering if this option could be added with a firmware update.
