zasy99
I will be ordering my Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI and AMD64 3500+ in the next few days and am lost as to what RAM to get, I wanted a total of 2GB but would like to overclock as high as possible (of course). The GA-K8NXP-SLI has a total of 4 memory slots, would it be possible to purchase two kits of Corsair TWINX1024-4400C25 to run on this board or would that most likely result in system instability? I would like to be able to hit at least 250MHz with the RAM. Any suggestions would be most welcome, thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 23, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 23, 2005 I would not suggest 4 modules with this MB, you would do better with Twinx2048-3200C2, as you may have to run the memory at DDR333 with more than 2 modules.
