PheonaColdfire
So a few weeks ago we lost power for a couple of days. Up to this point my pc had been running great with no issues at all. The pc was plugged into a power strip with a surge protector and several other electronic devices plugged in to the same strip. When the power came back on everything else turned on fine except my pc. It is acting like there is no power running to it. We have tried changing the outlet, the power cord, and a few other basic quick fixes but nothing has worked. Any suggestions on a possible fix or is the supply dead? Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted September 18, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 18, 2018 Hi PheonaColdfire, try performing what's called a "paperclip test". Essentially, you'll jump the power supply by itself, separate from the rest of the system, to see if the power supply is having issues. You should be able to find instructions for the paperclip test super easy online.
