Profile Switching Slows Down Terribly to 2 to 3 seconds between switch

My Profile Switching feature slows down to 2 to 3 seconds between switches, whether I use the hard keys or an action to switch the profile. If I turn my computer off and on, I can sometimes fix it, so that it is only somewhat laggy between when I press the button and the switch (I can see the time taken, but it must be partial seconds.)

To try to fix the problem, I have deleted all unnecessary actions and removed all profiles, but 2 (which I am trying to switch between). Still, my error log file when exported is 20+ MB, which indicates to me that maybe my action list and size is large(?).

Any ideas on what causes this lag between profile switches? Obviously can't change profiles in game with this kind of delay.

disable debug logging, that should help? It will definitely make it snappier. I would think and reduce the size. I recall my log file climbed to that big at one point and things were not as expected turning off the log fixed it? Please report back if that helps.

Thanks both.

re: hastetag - turn off debug logging: I tried disabling debug logging after I read your post about three days ago. I exported my error log today, and it's the same size pretty much. Is there a way to clear the cache. Is that what I have to do? - Regardless, after i did this, Delay was at manageable level, but the delay failed or went long today.

re: James: The slight delay, I imagine, is the somewhat visible lag I experience when it is running good, which might be manageable. However, periodically, it will slow to this monstrous 2 to 3 second delay. Any ideas on the causes of this?

I have a bunch of Corsair products in my computer(s), but do not manage them through ICUE. They are turned off in the settings. I do have a K95 RGB keyboard and a Scimitar Pro RGB mouse loaded to the hilt on all buttons (18 G keys, 12 function keys, windows key, on keyboard, and 15 buttons on mouse. Static lighting only) with actions on the gaming computer, so I imagine that causes the delay. If I bought a platinum keyboard (with 6 G keys) and moved the actions to different profiles across the buttons, is there a strategy to limit the delay? (equalize profile sizes, or something?). Would the same delay be expected/likely?

I tried to put the profile switch on my spacebar and retain original output, but with the 2 to 3 second delay it interferes with regular typing, so I have to turn it off. When this happens the M1, M2, and M3 switches at the top (ie. the profile switches, also have the long delay).

Thanks again.
