iCUE 3.7.99 update can not uninstall the older version

As the title states, iCUE 3.7.99 update can not uninstall the older version.

The update downloads without a problem, but on installing the issue happens.

I have tried a couple of times to update but each time I get the same problem

Just tried a downloaded .exe file from guru3d & have the same problem.

Here's the error:

MSI (s) (4C:CC) [20:53:43:269]: SOURCEMGMT: Source is invalid due to missing/inaccessible package.

 

In order to uninstall, it's needs the old package. Try using Add/Remove Programs to remove the old version manually.

I did notice those 2 errors & I did think it strange. I already have iCUE 3.6.109 installed. (updated through the previous version of iCUE with no issues)

 

I'll try & back my couple of profiles up, uninstall & install 3.7.99 manually.
