Evostance
Im pretty sure this is an issue with the Corsair software on Windows, or what's on the mouse as I can find plenty of people with different Corsair mice having this issue. Essentially, the mouse buttons on the mouse will randomly stop working. I have no profiles setup, but I do have the latest version of iCue installed. Some days I'll come to use my PC and the buttons wont work at all, the input is not detected by any application. Can't go back in Chrome, can't map them in a game, and iCue doesn't even detect them. Sometimes when the PC is rebooted, the mouse isn't even detected at all and requires me to unplug and replug it in. Sometimes this doesn't work, and I can only get it back after multiple restarts Sometimes, it works fine. Does anyone have a fix for this? It's driving me insane, and to be honest, I'm about to ditch Corsair if I cant resolve this. EDIT: OK, this is 100% a bug with iCue. I've just uninstalled iCue and the mouse buttons start working just fine. Reinstalled iCue and the buttons are fine, only for them to stop working the next day or so
Corsair Employees Corsair Hotpot Posted September 13, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 13, 2018 Do you notice if this happens after the system wakes from sleep or is it completely random? If it's after sleep you may want to reset the corsair services which you can find in the settings of iCUE. If it's the latter, make a ticket on our support website and upload your iCUE logs so we forward the issue to the validations team to see what the cause could be. It's normally after sleep or a reboot like this morning. Only the DPI light is lit. I've tried resetting the corsair services but it never worked. I have to repair the iCue software via Control Panel to get it working again This morning after a reboot, iCUE now shows this (after a 2nd reboot everything is fine):
