Genjuro
Hello, I have been using the K70 LUX and i started noticing key chattering after 2 weeks, it spread to multiple keys and i can't really explain it. I take really good care of my keyboard and never had any issues with other mechanical keyboards in the past. What i noticed is that there are keys which i barely ever use and have this issue, like the Insert key for example. It feels like this is firmware side issue but i really can't tell since i'm not an expert at these things. Is there a way to find what is causing the issue and fix it? I really don't want to have wasted 130 euros for nothing. thank you
StrangeGeek
Try a soft firmware reset by opening iCUE, navigating to settings, clicking on your keyboard and update the firmware. If the firmware is up-to-date, then force the update, and please don't interrupt this process. Doing so will most likely brick your keyboard from which there is no recovery. Genjuro
Nothing changed unfortunately, so it's probably the switches that cause this problem?
StrangeGeek
Nothing changed unfortunately, so it's probably the switches that cause this problem? Doubt it. Probably a driver issue. Either that or it might be that setting in win10 that can cause key chatter by changing the amount of time is needed for a held down key to be repeated. Zotty
Hi buddy.. have a read of the below thread and indeed download Keyboard Chattering Fix.. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=157671 it will detect the chatter and also cancel it out.. you can use a screen print of the detected chatter if you decide to RMA it. i have recently done exactly that with my k95p
