rhexis
im stumped here. i have a k70 rgb kb and a lighting node pro controlling two 140LL rgb fans. i cant seem to set a lighting effect for the k70 without it also setting the same effect for the two rgb fans. is this how its supposed to work or am i missing something? mpoffo
You should be able to control them all separately. By chance are you using the feature that syncs all your devices together vs the ones that allow for individual control in the lighting management section? rhexis
wow not sure this software isnt the most intuitive i have seen. this is what im doing. open up ique i see my k70, my lighting node pro and my h110i. i select my k70 and click on lighting effects. what comes up is the spiral rainbow i change that to temperature and as soon as i do that the two rgb fans connected to the node pro also change to temperature. so then i select the node pro and select lighting channel 2 and i see lighting link 1 and below that static color 1. i click on static color and pick a color but nothing changes on the fans they are still temperature based like my k70. mpoffo
That is your issue then. When you go into the lighting effects and select items from the Lighting Link list (third column) then that coordinates the lighting with other items you have. The temperature setting is under that menu.
rhexis
yep that was it. i was wanting to have my kb change color based on cpu temp and my fans to have another effect but no go.
DevBiker
Well, you can turn the effect off for the fans by clicking on the left box. When you mouse over it, it'll become an "eye" ... and you can click that to disable the effect for that channel. Also, if you place additional effects "over" the temperature Lighting Link effect. Effects are processed from top-down so you can effectively cover the temperature lighting link effect.
