Cue opens a transparent screen

As the title says cue opens a blank screen. I've tried all the compatibility modes up to windows xp sp3. The last one actually makes a windowed transparent screen.

 

As for the few solutions on posts there are regarding cue not opening:

I've latest nvidia drivers installed (399.07)

I've tried all the different scaling options

I've tried install Link, but the installer just shows a blank window so it is not an option. I'm thinking the same problem happens here.

 

Since I read about a lot of users having issues with multi-screen setups, I'm guessing the problem lies there. The setup doesn't actually have a screen. I've read that it needs a minimum of 720p so I forced the resolution to be full hd through the nvidia drivers; I'm guessing the way the program draws the windows asks only for the res to the hardware monitor and not the video drivers, and since there is none it goes crazy...

 

I've an hx1200i psu. I need to get into cue to select the single rail option, cause the psu shuts down when it's operating around 900w with spikes up to 1100w measured on the wall. Only the pcie lanes are being used, so my guess is that the default configuration is multi-rail which I found very annoying. A lot of users could be stressing the rails and the caps without even knowing...

 

In the logs you can see it connects to the psu. Maybe there is a profile I can modify for it to go on single rail without having to use the buggy UI?

 

So please, any solution to get that psu to single rail is welcomed. Below I attach the logs:

See if you can use Corsair Link for that, does have the option to change rails for my 850i psu and might be less finicky about display

Thanks for the reply, but the corsair link doesn't even install for me, it just shows up a grey windowed square and can't do anything from there.
