Shplad
Hi: I'm a techie who just purchased two 512MB USB Flash drives. I need to use these drives to move data between my machines at the office and on-site customer machines. I love our USB Flash drives so far. The convenience factor and speed are wonderful. I would like to be able to protect the USB drive somehow so that it cannot easily get infected by viruses and malware when I insert it into customer machines. If I use the Corsair Flash utility, how vulnerable will the drive be to data being written by threads/processes other than the user himself? Is there any other way to protect the drive from being written to (preferably without installing the software)? I prefer not to install software on customer machines unless necessary. I hope my question is clear. Thanks Shplad
