Sicc
Recently installed an H100i Pro, the LED's on the pump are sluggish to refresh when changed in iCue, and seem to default out to color changing mode whenever I fire up any game. Also, Last time I rebooted iCue did not even see the h100i pro until I went inside my case and unplugged + plugged the usb cable back into my splitter (I have this hooked to an NZXT usb hub). I have tried changing the cable but the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
jayhall0315
It is not the cable, it is the NZXT hub. I have not looked at the iCUE code, but I very strongly suspect it is written to recognize the USB headers on your motherboard as a priority. Plug the cable coming out of your pump head into a USB 2.0 header on your motherboard and your problems will likely vanish.
Sicc
that is impossible. I have one USB2 out on my motherboard that runs to the NZXT splitter, and four devices inside my case using usb headers plugged into the NZXT hub, two of them being a lighting node pro which works fine + the H100i pro. Seems like a design flaw to me?
jayhall0315
It is likely adjacent channel interference (ACI) on the LP pins due to all the devices. Just give it a try.....
Sicc
I just tried using a different cable and hooking to a usb 2.0 on my motherboard direct and had the same issue, then I Tried plugging it into two different USB 3.0 ports, one on the back of the motherboard + one that is hooked to a header on my board and it works perfectly fine (colors respond instantly in iCue). Also, the pump colors turning to random colors when launching games has went away.
