bank 2 256 166 mhz cl2 200 mhz cl2.5

bank 3 512 and here it shows the spd a latency of 3 !! it was the same module as in bank 1

bank 4 bank 1 512 166 mhz cl2 200 mhz cl2.5

I thought that all modules are the same = xms cl2 and the onlineshop showed exactly this revisions.

My Mobo is the P4P800 deluxe from Asus with a intel P4C 3.00 Ghz fsb 800 processor.

I have the newest firmware installed.

I just want to know weather the online shop sold me the wrong ram that i can change it.

Thx

Did you purchase them all at the same time? If not then it's really hard to match memory as most resellers do not track revisions. If you are trying to add to what you already had you will need to find modules that match yours both in part# and revision. But you can try and set the timings and frequency manually to Cass 2.5-3-3-7 and set the Dim Voltage to 2.8 Volts and set the memory Frequency to DDR400 then test the system with http://www.memtest.org.

My system works fine only thing is that i can`t have cl2 just cl2.5

Just because of this one cl3 module.

I just want to know weather the online shop has sold me the wrong ram here is exactly the module wich is in my computer just cl3.

With 2 miss-matched modules the suggested settings would be Cass 2.5-3-3-7. You are welcome to try any settings you like, but I would not suggest running them in dual channel. It would be best to use a Twinx set of modules with this MB. If the bios does not give you the option to set Cass 2 then that would suggest a bios problem.

You didn´t understand my question.... is this module:

bank 3 512-3200c2 xms3202v3.1 0411040-0 a normal cl2 module or not?

When the onlineshop sold me the wrong one (a cl3 ) module i could give it back.

When not it is smth. else this is the exactly address it could be that the shop sold me the wrong.

Thx for your fast help

Yes it's a Cass 2 module, but all of our XMS C2 modules will have their SPD set to JEDEC defined values for the IC used for that specific module part# and or revision. The tested settings of Cass 2-3-3-6 would be for one module or one set of modules only and would need to be manually set.

I can put cas 2 on but then the pc don`t start and i have to restart and put it to 2.5cl manually or by spd where it shows me 2.5cl too.

But a new problem appeared i can`t put on the performance mode of my mobo (the performance mode just like the one of the mobos with the 875 chipset). because then same problem appears like when i put latency to cl2

Well you may be able to do that with out using the MB makers pre-defined settings. But I am sorry even with one module we would not support any setting that is not part of the chipset specification or has a list of published settings that are actually getting set or changed.
