Mannekino
Hi, I recently bought an Carbide SPEC-06 RGB case and I have a ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VII HERO. This motherboard has several options to control LED RGB strips. The motherboard comes with two RGB cables but they can't connect to the cable of the led strip of the case (they're both male). Is it possible to control the RGB LED of this case with ASUS AURA through my motherboard with some sort of adapter cable or is this not possible? So I need a female to female cable to connect both male cables with each other. Or some sort of female to RGB connector to hook it up to my motherboard. Regards, Mannekino

Regards, Mannekino Unfortunately, that's not possible. The RGB LED header on the motherboard are for generic RGB LED strip, not the one we supplied with our case or any of our RGB product for that matter. Mannekino
OK that's too bad. I am considering getting 2x 140mm and 2x 120mm RBG fans as replacements for my stock H110i fans and the two stock case exhaust fans. Would I be able to controle both the 4 fans and the RBG lightning of the case with iCUE with a Commander Pro?
pjschaffer
I know that the SPEC-06 RGB case connectors are physically incompatible with the LNP but it would be interesting to know if an adapter could be made to connect the case RGB with the LNP.
