TuxedoCruise
Hey folks, I'm thinking about picking up the K95 Platinum mostly for using its software to create macros for my productivity PC. The manual says to plug it into a USB 3.0 port: https://www.corsair.com/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/K95_RGB_PLATINUM_QSG.pdf But the tech specs on the product page says the wired USB connection is USB 2.0: https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Color/Keyboard-Model/Key-Switches/Keyboard-Layout/k95-rgb-platinum-config-na/p/CH-9127014-NA I don't have any USB 3.0 ports on that PC. Does the K95 Platinum keyboard fully function properly on only USB 2.0 ports? Thanks!
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted August 27, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 27, 2018 Should work fine if connected to two USB 2.0 ports. It may not work properly if only one USB 2.0 is used due to the power requirements.
