MrCube
Is it possible to use an iMac as a monitor for the Corsair one? Do I need some adapters? This is my computer
nox_uk
No. If I remember correctly the newer imacs only do target display mode through their thunderbolt connection. So no, mainly because the C1 does not have thunderbolt, but also because no Nvidia/AMD discrete GPU's output to thunderbolt either... You would also not get g-sync, but that's relatively minor. Corsair Employees Corsair CJ Posted August 23, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 23, 2018 I did some digging and unfortunately it looks like your iMac (late 2015 retina 4k) doesn't actually support Target Display Mode in the first place, even over TB. Which is a shame since that was a great feature to have on the older models which had perfectly fine screens.
