CarynC Posted August 19, 2018 Share Posted August 19, 2018 Hi everyone, My son and I are building a PC for the first time. It's his reward for getting straight A's all through middle school. Based on the PC specs I have in my user info, what are your opinions on which case would be better as far as air circulation - Carbide Spec Omega RGB or Obsidian 500D RGB SE? I haven't picked the CPU cooler yet because I need to pick my case first. Like I said, I've never done this before and I'm mostly using advice from friends or Linus Tech Tips to choose the parts. GWNewman1 Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 I have the Omega RGB in white and I'm a fan - I wanted something different from the drab black cases I've had for the longest. Only thing I can tell you about the Omega is you might not have room up top to mount a radiator depending on the motherboard - I have an Asus ROG Strix X470-F and the rad comes down too far to mount the board - I wound up mounting it up front with a fan up top.
