RicardoZ
I switched my old PSU to a brand new RM650i and I have a power hungry R9 290 Tri-X OC graphics card. But I have some questions. Should one PCI-e power cable connected be enough? I'm using the 8+6 pin connectors. If so, should I use multi-rail or single rail for the 12V? Or it doesn't matter? Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted August 15, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 15, 2018 Hi RicardoZ, you can definitely use a single cable for your card, there should be no issues. In regards to single vs multi rail, our units default to multi. Here's a good video for reference! [ame] [/ame]
