yesterday i shut down my device after windows update. i was wondering cause my led where effecting red and green. normally its completely off when i shut down my computer. today i started it but my led wont let me control them. i received an update for icue but now the node is not detected... if my computer is in use the fans are white the omega stripe is in rainbow colors without a moving effect. if i turn it of the fans are orange. i am really confused... yesterday all worked fine. i also tried to reset it while i am removed the cable of the psu but the light stay on? wothout connected power für 15 mins or more? is that normal?

The lighting shouldn't be on when the power is off. It is concerning that your PSU would still provide power on the SATA connection when powered down; there's really no other way that this could happen.

As for not being detected ... can you check in USBDeView (https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html)? Corsair's Vendor ID is 1b1c ... so see what devices are detected by Windows. We have seen Windows Updates blow away the drivers and a reinstall of iCue usually fixes this.

On Power Off, modern PSUs have a +5V standby going to the motherboard. This won't be there if you unplug from the wall completely.

Do you have anything from the Spec Alpha plugged into the motherboard? That 5V Standby really should only be on the 24-pin motherboard connector, not on the SATA connector.

I have to think that there is something going truly wacky with your PSU.
