TheDreamx
CMR16GX4M2C3000C15 Ryzen 7 1700 Asus Prime-x470-pro I am having an issue getting the advertised 3000MHz clock to be stable, whether that's using the DOCP/XMP, as well as trying to manually set it up. When set to auto the clock speed is @2133MHz. My MOBO is up-to-date on BIOS (4018) and I have reflashed as well. Could someone help me find out why the sticks my board apparently supports, as well as the advertised speeds supposedly to be 3000MHz are not wanting to work properly. Quick add: I have taken this kit back once to Best Buy where I purchased it originally and had it swapped out for another one of the same type. It is the same exact issue both times. Given you already had it exchanged and have the exact issue I'd indirectly blame the motherboard for now. Up to you if you want to wait for a bios update or to just buy a different kit. If there's another way we can help please let us know. -Art

Although the mobo's compatibility shows that 1st gen and 2nd gen should operate this ram at advertised clock. Idk, perhaps when I have time I'll reflash.
