Coolz202
I have noticed that my radiator fans on my Corsair H115i PRO AIO are running unresponsive to any commands I give them, using the Corsair iCUE software I am unable to change the fans speed to its max. Fan #1 on it will only go up to a certain RPM, and Fan #2 is COMPLETELY unresponsive, running at 630~ RPM at all times, even when I adjust the settings for it to be "Zero RPM". The pump is still responsive however, but I don't know why this is happening. Could anyone help? Thanks!
c-attack
Zero RPM mode may be a lost cause and I don't really recommend it anyway. A consistent slow and quiet speed will be better than off/on/off/on... Can you post a screen shot of your H115i PRO page, Performance Tab open, so we can see your fan settings? c-attack
Just for the moment, swap the two fan connections on the H115i Pro fans. Does the sluggish fan response switch as well? Or stay on fan 2? I would also suggest creating your own curve for the fans. The control points for the presets are hidden and just based on your idle coolant temperature, it is probably Summer or warm wherever you are. The presets work well when you have a standard room temp of 20-23C, but once you (or the case) gets beyond that, the fans are going to run hard all the time and they don't need to. Hit the + on the left side menu to create a new "cooling mode". That can be renamed. You can fiddle with the control points as you like. Set something slow and quiet for your normal baseline coolant temp. Set a comfortable speed for the highest coolant temp you normally see. Set it maximally for a temp you think you should never reach (like 45 or 50C coolant temperature). However, the real reason to this now is the custom curve mode opens up the controls for fixed % and fixed RPM. Either of those may be a better tool for fan responsiveness compared to the mystery presets. *Incidentally, there was a firmware update for the H115i Pro in the last 24 hours. Did you apply it? I am not saying you should, but if you did apply it and then this started, that would be notable. I have no idea what the firmware update addresses and they rarely release firmware update notes any more.
