codydagoat
https://imgur.com/a/P3w3WlV Is this a bad spot on my s340 elite to put this hub? The back was getting pretty messy even with managed cables and I had the node mounted tk the back and wasnt a lot of room for the hub. Would like opinion if this looks bad and to try and move it to thr back or not
c-attack
The hub is fine there. It doesn’t get overly warm so other than strapping it to the PSU or against a fan, it can go anywhere. However, the thing that immediately got my attention is all your fans are positioned as intake. It’s probably a little warmer than it needs to be in your case. Should I switch tge top and bsck one around? Or both front? Or one of each?
c-attack
Standard S340 set up is going to be front in, 1 x top and 1 x rear out. I would go with that, especially when factoring in the air tower position. That should keep the CPU waste heat blowing through and out while passively released top heat exits via the top. Zotty
https://imgur.com/a/5CfzXts Better? Yes buddy.. now you have cool air coming in at the front of the case and the warm air being pushed out the top and rear of the case.. it's an ideal situation ;) I imagine your CPU also now runs cooler....
