iCUE lighting link not syncing properly

MSIX

Recommended Posts

I have a H115i Pro Cooler and 4 8gb RGB Pro RAM sticks. It does not appear that the cooler and RAM sticks are syncing properly.

Example = Using Color Wave

Far left Ram stick turns green then the stick next to it turns green then the cooler SHOULD turn green, then the 3rd RAM stick turns green then the 4th.

What is happening is the cooler is doing its own color shift and not in the color pattern of the RAM.

Also an Example = Using Rain

The far right 2 RAM sticks cycle through the effect much faster and are not in sync with the far left 2 sticks of RAM.

Any ideas?

First, the RAM has a bit of latency to it right now. They are working on this. That said, I'm not sure that lighting link would quite as configurable as you are expected - but I may be mistaken on that.

For the Rain effects, if you apply a single rain effect across all of the sticks, it won't be synched. If you want it synched, create a Rain effect for each stick of RAM. So for 4 sticks of RAM, you'd have 4 Rain effects ... each one would be assigned to a single stick. This will have them in sync ... though you may need to reload the profile for them to sync properly.

Will this latency issue be resolved via a firmware upgrade to the RAM?
