H100i v2 cpu fan not detected after a few months

So last night I finished up playing some games and shut down my pc. Everything was working fine. Today I boot up, notice a error message saying the cpu fan wasn't detected. Open bios to see what the issue is and it's not registering that I have a fan, it's all just N/A and my cpu temp went from 40 to 50 to 60 in about a minute or So, so I hurriedly shut it down. After taking a look I've noticed that the fans going to the radiator are both running fine, the light on the pump is on and lit white, and the radiator itself seems to be staying at a good temperate while it's running. I'm not sure if the liquid is running in the two lines running out of the pump because I'm not really sure what that would feel like.anyone by chance know what these signs are pointing towards? Ive had this thing running for about 6 months now and id never really had a problem before now.also, its running a i7 7700k and a asus z270h for the motherboard. Thanks in advance!

If your BIOS no longer recognizes there is a device at the end of CPU fan, the pump has most likely suffered some kind of electrical failure on its end. The slow and steady rise of CPU temp as described is the classic sign of a non-turning pump. You can try moving to another header to verify there isn't a problem with your CPU_FAN, but that is very unlikely. You are going to need to replace the cooler. Contact Corsair directly through the Tech Support Ticket System at the top of the page to start the RMA process.
