johnstrasser
Hi Folks, I've been using my Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz since 2013 and it's been great. Never overclocked and it appears that temps have stayed pretty good. Now I'm contemplating upgrading to 32gb. Can I just buy another 16gb of the same (Amazon says they still have them in stock) and add them to the system? Or should I just save up and buy a new 32gb kit. While I'm at it, it looks like the only real difference between the "regular" and the "pro" is the heat spreader. Am I right? Thanks in advance. Corsair Employees Corsair Art Posted August 6, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 6, 2018 We'd only be able to officially recommend a new 32gb kit if 32gb is what you want. 2 separate kits are never guaranteed to work, although I've seen them do so.
