gngn
What is the use of the key on the right hand side of the keyboard between ALTGR, WIN and Ctrl key. It contains a square with 3 lines in it. Sorry for this probably silly question. But I did a lot of research and have not found any explanation. I have a German keyboard. Using this key in an editor calls up the editor's menu. Can anybody throw some light on my silly question? There is a large manual at http://softwaredownloads.corsair.com/Files/Gaming-Keyboards/Corsair-Gaming-RGB-Keyboards-Software-User-Manual.pdf but it does not help me in this respect. I am looking for a tutorial which is somewhat easier to understgand and will let you know if I will have found any. P.S. I will switch to more corsair devices. First step was to acquire the K70 RGB MX Brom keyboard. Later on this month I will buy the Corsair One Elite with large ssd. If you have a corsair mouse recommendation with particular regard to text processing (and macro recording) I would be thankful for it.
gngn
Solved! It is just the context menu key and no special FN key. Since there is often talk abot the FN key (whatever it may mean) I thought that this would be FN key or could be remapped as FN key. So, I still have to find out what the so-called FN key stands for. MikeyR
FN key = Function Key It is a key modifier to access a different keyboard "layer". Not sure about the K70 but I expect that to change profile, lighting etc. you have to hold in FN key + another key. On my ducky mini keyboard, I have access to arrow keys, page up, page down, F-keys and the mouse when I hold in the FN key. Hope this explains a bit. gngn
Thanks MikeyR. Since the K70 does not have a dedicated FN key I assume that if I understand it correctly I can remap with CUE any Key combination and call it up with the function key + selected key and this then callen FN key. I was under the impression that there would be a dedicated physical FN key on the keyboard of which I am not aware of. Therefore, I thought that the menu key could be act like a dedicated FN key. Thanks.
