TheKDub
I recently got the H100i Pro RGB and noticed that even if I save a profile to the cooler, whenever I log out or lock my PC, the LEDs on it default back to the rainbow wave thing rather than staying as what I set them to. I'm personally not a big fan of LEDs in my computer since I prefer to leave it running 24/7 and don't like having my room lit up at night by it, so I have the profile set to keep the LEDs off. Anyone know of a solution to this issue? I'd rather not have to resort to putting tape over the LEDs or something like that. Thanks!
c-attack
I am afraid there isn't one. At the present time, iCUE does not allow "lighting playback" for coolers, fans, and strips without the software running. This is frustrating for many because it was a feature for most products on the predecessor software Link. I can go back to Link and save both my fan curves and basic lighting to my H115i PRO. Unfortunately, when I then install iCUE, it will overwrite the pump lighting with the standard default rainbow. We ask often, but it is unknown if this feature will return to iCUE in the future or if the complex layers of lighting in iCUE make that impossible. I don't know if anyone has tried to run a H100i PRO on Link, but I suspect the program won't recognize the cooler. Maybe they coded it in back in April, but probably not. That means you are stuck with the rainbow on boot and whenever you are not running the software.

Setting the LED to off in there seems to have resolved the issue at the lock screen. I guess I'll be sticking with Link until Corsair can make iCue into a functional program. c-attack
Thanks. That is good information to know. You are the first person with a H100i PRO to mention it is recognized and that gives people another option. There are a few things Link still does better than iCUE. That is one of them. Thanks so much for sharing this piece of information. Thanks to you, I managed to get my H100i Pro to save its static color setting :) Corsair, please fix this in iCue! Thank you. Am parked on Link till then.
