minrk
I had a matched pair of Value Select (VS512MB400) running on a PC Chips T12 (i865pe). Now, when I boot, the system sends itself into a permanent cycle, crashing right after the device check, either immediately rebooting, or freezing. However, when I remove one of the sticks, it works fine, and when I put the suspected one back in alone, it returns to the loop. Have tried booting with any/all/no IDE,PCI devices connected, and nothing changes. summary: mod A works mod B loops mods A + B (Dual channel or single channel) loop. suspect mod B is bad. System: Windows XP Pro (up to date) i865pe P4 2.6 (800fsb) 2x 512 DDR400 (minus one at present) XFX GeForce 6600 GT (AGP) 1x 120GB Deskstar 1x 200GB Seagate SATA Barracuda Thanks, -MinRK
