nex999
Yup, latest iCue update (3.5.111) basically killed my keyboard. Firstly, iCue couldn't recognize it, and after reboot it's totally dead (although windows makes a sound when i plug it in/out) It's unresponsive and soft reset doesn't work either. Waiting for ticket support answer but i'm almost sure what the outcome would be:mad:

DKisCRUSHIN
Same thing happened to me tonight. Mouse was plugged into my K70 rear USB, and when the firmware finished, I got a folder for a Hard drive and a .bin file. Now my K70 recognizes as another Mouse on my iCUE and my PC. Mouse takes over and drifts to the bottom right. Can't stop it as it's somehow the master MOUSE and can't be stopped!!! Corsair...ummm, HELP!!? nex999
Per instructions by user @toasted, i managed to do hard reset of the KB and apply the new firmware, and it works now! Thanks for the reply to you too, James This is how i did it: 1. Unplug the keyboard 2. Locate the pinhole on the keyboard, This can be at the front of the keyboard next to the USB cable or underneath a feet. 3. Plug the keyboard while pressing the pinhole button. 4. Windows Explorer should see CRP_DISABLED, delete firmware.bin and replace it with the provided FW file Pinhole on the K70 is beneath right foot. Hope this helps to you all

Evolved
Per instructions by user @toasted, i managed to do hard reset of the KB and apply the new firmware, and it works now! Thanks for the reply to you too, James This is how i did it: Pinhole on the K70 is beneath right foot. Hope this helps to you all I flipped the keyboard unplugged it, stuck a pin in, plugged it in while pin in bottom. Dark keyboard, no lights, no message about Crp_Disabled popping up. Keyboard useless and dead, unplug and replugged the usb cables and it works but no way to force an update to my k70 lux which is not detected by the iCue latest software. Since going to iCue my stuff has not worked properly. No way to download profiles, everything slowing got worse and now I don't think it gets worse than be a useless Red lit keyboard. HOWEVER... when I sat the cables into my cases front usb3.0 ports, something came to life, and then I put them back to the original positions and it shows up. God knows what that crap is about. Now just to find out how to get some of the downloadable profiles. Or make my own. Edited October 3, 2018 by Evolved
